i had a fabulous birthday {week.}
…my girlfriends planned a double-birthday lunch for me, and another girlfriend {cynthia} who’s birthday was the end of december.
we dined at bajio’s. we both left with some serious good gifts! arms full of goodies. loved the food & girl time. thank you, besties.
my husband has this tradition, of NOT buying me what i ask for. he is very loyal to this tradition. so, for a long time now {5 years} i’ve been requesting to replace a certain chandelier in our kitchen. lately, i had actually saved a link to a drum-shade light i really liked on my desktop.

It was in Boise that Casey surprised me with a proposal and it was those mighty home runs that paid for my ring. The Boise Hawks had a “Booster Club” that passed around “money buckets” to a nightly sold out crowd of @ 5,000 people any time one of the players hit a home run.

one of my favorite combinations,
with one of my favorite couples.
we met up with the taylors in slc for delicious italian cuisine and a movie. scotty has spent time in italy, and he has great taste for choosing italian restaurants.
Michaelangelo did not disappoint. i had a caprese salad and grilled salmon that was really good.
highly recommended.
scotty and i have been friends since we were fifteen years old, he has always been such a loyal friend. i not only cherish our friendship, but i also adore his beautiful wife. literally, after 30 minutes together not only my stomach hurt from laughing –

kiana & valtor {the owner of cucino tuscana, we’re very fond of him.}
the concert was awesome, my fave moment was when miley rode the motorcycle above the crowd {see picture above} and sang, “i love rock ‘n roll!”
and dinner was delicious, as expected.
it’s so fun to take our girls out on the town. of course, it’s more fun when moosey stays awake all evening.

is a quaint urban cafe in downtown provo. in my photography class i was given the option to visit the cafe and view some photos on display by a student at uvu. it’s extra credit, and still early in the semester but i usually try to do all extra credit that is offered in case it’s needed down the road…
dusty and i tried to visit the cafe friday night, but to our surprise, it was standing room only. popular place. they have local live music and it was impossible to walk around the cafe and check out the photos…
so, I tried again today-
