in the rhodes home –
dusty has returned to “friday lunches with big papi!” this is a big benefit of papi’s offices being two blocks away from our kids school.
dusty either takes the kids their favorite fast food or checks them out of school for 30 minutes and runs them somewhere to eat.
this is definitely the highlight of their lunch-week!

i’ve had my days of running races, went through a little phase back after i gave birth to myla and kj. but those days have come and gone.

i think i am going to pull an all-nighter, sometimes as a momma, it just hast to be done, to get it all done. know what i mean?
this week:
i finished the sixth season of “sex & the city” oh yeah boy. i started season one back in january. i watch 1, 2, or 3 episodes during my daily work-outs. it’s perfect because each episode is only 20-28 minutes. so, sometimes two episodes pulls me right through 45 minutes of hard-core cardio. i love it. i love carrie. charlotte. miranda. and samantha.

lets see, back here, I was good for two weeks solid. really good.
then easter came.
then KJ’s birthday came.
then mother’s day came.
these one-day events all turned into DAYS and DAYS of eating SUGAR! because you know, this is an addiction we are talking about. when I indulge just a little, the fact is, i then indulge a LOT.
{sigh}
today, I start again….
no sugar, for this girl.
