this beautiful girl moved in next door to us with her family, when she was thirteen years old… seven years ago.

i’ve watched her grow into the most amazing woman – talented, beautiful, kind, and brilliant.

and now… she’s getting married!!!

i had the honor of designing her wedding invitations + work with her. i’ve decided i really love working with clients when they have the same style as me! i have a serious obsession with fonts, and when victoria wanted a design that focused on typography — i was in design heaven! she had the BEST ideas. it made creating-my-first-wedding-invitations a cinch!

we traded goods for the business cards and i totally scored! we made the trade pre-easter, so i used the fun goodies for my kiddos easter baskets. she gave me cute lavender scented sachets for each of my girls + these darling velcro bracelets you can spot below on sela. seriously? they are some of my favorites ever! i’m dying over the mustard colored flower + the little play watch! and, i love that they are velcro, so sela can easily get them on + they fit snug & cute.

jordan ferney has completely blown my mind again with her creativity! this time, it was with her confetti invitations. i used this tutorial, and created these for kj’s upcoming birthday party…

we have been planning the party with the colors navy blue & turquoise, and stripes, and chevron-designs! kj was so excited to deliver these invites, he couldn’t wait for his friends to twist them open for the little tubes to shoot out the surprise invitation!
