kiana and twenty-five of her girlfriends, plus the howell boys, and family totaling about thirty-five people celebrated pre-teen style for her 11th birthday…

the invitations-i ordered these movie ticket invitations here, and i think they have a good selection of things for the older-kid-crowd.

the party-

“Confessions of a shopaholic!”it was Sooooo cute!
we had nearly half of the theater filled with our group, a few popcorn fights broke-out…when someone was kissing they would clap and cheer! They would yell “woot-woo!” at all the lovey-dovey parts…they were so much fun!

This year the Pro Look Christmas party began at Carrabba’s Italian restaurant for dinner. Dusty had changed the entire game plan the night before and spent all day preparing for a “Price Is Right” theme as opposed to his previous idea. myla’s birthday party

December 20, 2008

the invitations-
the winter storm that blew in just before it was time for the party to start-
some of the guests, and the entertainment for the party were stuck in traffic & snow on bad roads so instead of doing:
entertainment
presents
cake

we did:
cake
presents
entertainment

Our cake was from the sweet tooth fairy, a bakery that will be opening soon in Provo. Our friend Jimmy from college, it is his sister who owns the bakery. Megan Faulkner Brown. She is a doll, and the cake was goodilicious!

presents!

holiday open house

December 7, 2008

One of the newer neighbors in our neighborhood had an amazing holiday open house last night…it has been the long-awaited-for, event-of-the-holidays kind of shin-dig! We were so excited to spend the evening with really great friends, delicious food, and LIVE entertainment! Everything was spectacular.

Taylors/Simpson/us/Duckworth’s{THANK YOU to the Borup’s, we can’t wait to spend more time with you and get to know you even better!}

my favorite quote this evening was from Jenn…
“I’m not creative. I’m good with numbers.
