sela was hiding around our home for a good portion of the morning…
she was terrified.
worried.
she said the easter bunny is ‘sdary’ and she did not want to cross paths with it…
should it actually hop right through our house.
however, sela was totally fine collecting the pink goodies the bunny left!
the easter bunny color-coordinated the kids’ treats again this year…it sure makes the egg hunt ‘fair’ for everyone…keeping all kiddos happy. 😉

what do twelve year old girls & their besties do on a friday night?
well, my twelve year old along with her best friends attacked the younger sis’s room with ‘myla‘ & ‘we love you’ signs as a surprise. {and, of course, they color-coordinated the signs to her room!}
if you know my myla, this is totally her kind of thing.
she LOVED the surprise! and once she walked in her room & discovered it, she spent the rest of her friday evening playing night games & hanging out with the ‘older girls’

our family {minus kiana – she was dancing} ran our first race together,
for a great cause.
it was so fun & i am so proud of kj and myla!
kj had his heart set on not running.
then just a moment before the race started, i grabbed him, stuck him with his buddy tegan and his dad troy…and said, “you’re running buddy! go! go! go!”
the kids’ fun run had just started and he took off with full gusto…
afterwards, kj said it was pretty hard {rumor is that the one mile fun run was actually a 1.5 mile fun run,

easter eggs
our {{{green}}} day!
the first graders at kj’s school all went on a leprechaun – scavenger hunt!
it was so. dang. cute!
the two days leading up to st. patrick’s day,
the first graders would hear leprechauns running accross the roof of the school!
and running through the halls!
so, finally, ON st. patrick’s day, the first graders went looking for them!
{i missed this activity when my older girls were in 1st grade,
and i was so impressed, this time…}
there were about 10 groups of kids, each group had 4-5 kids with one leader.
kj was the leader of his group.
