my girls have been busy with lots of fun projects at their art school.
last fall they both finished flowers that they used cross-hatching to compose.
then they both personalized their cow projects…
i love seeing their personalities exposed in their artwork.
i am almost finished with this semester, just three more weeks!
then i am going to have four months off with NO CLASSES. i’ll be honest, i was nervous about this at first. i really enjoy my daily focus on art. UVU is not offering any classes i need this summer. however, since coming to grips with it, i’ve planned lots of other fun projects to do in place of homework.

was the destination for my spring break this year! {last year, was here.}
i love that my hubby so willingly whisked me off for spring break, two years in a row now, since i’ve returned to college!
love that man!
we had warm weather and really cold weather.
both were beautiful!
in the warm weather, we went running along the chicago river with amazing views of lake michigan. i was able to shop at my favorite kids store! we watched lots of this {dusty will be on his way to the big dance,

she opened her bedroom door to find a new grey/black mixed shag area rug, new bedding, a new lamp shade, a new little owl, and a painting by yours dearly, me…
for this painting assignment, we had to create an analagous colors collage, with 4-6 colors.

then we painted a larger version of the collage. i chose to make mine pretty big,
