We were lucky to get to go to Lake Powell with lots of friends this past summer and every time we go and return without anyone inured – I thank our lucky stars!!! It’s a miracle.
And, it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Happy it’s so close to us.

In April of 2018, my husband Dusty and I took our two younger kids KJ and Sela to Kauai for Spring break. My husband has a cousin who is currently living there with her husband and three daughters. It was SO dreamy. A beautiful week full of beach time, family, rain, and fun memories that hopefully these sweet kids will never forget.

Last Spring my girls and I started a new tradition – we planned our first girls trip! I’m not sure if we’ll be able to plan this annually, but hopefully every two years or less. It was so much fun. We slept in, enjoyed good food, did lots of sightseeing and every day was filled with laughter. I love having three daughters. Cheers to girls & raising strong women!

Hello friends! Is anyone out there?!! I am making an attempt to return to the world of blogging, and as my first project this month I’ve been getting caught up on making videos from some of our trips this past year. Tis the season for Elf on the Shelf! Our elves Mr. Bean & Ruby had twins a couple of years ago. This year when they returned they had a note that said parenting makes them lazy and stated that they would only be moving every Friday. (win-win!) This past Friday they moved and had a PRIDE FESTIVAL!!! What a perfect time of year to be celebrating PRIDE!

In December we embarked on our 15th annual trip to Mexico with the Blands. It was a little off from our normal routine as the Bland’s had an unexpected death in the family, Scotty & Mckenna left after two days to return home to the funeral and to be with extended family.

Due to this I didn’t take out my camera quite as much for photos and videos, but I filmed just enough to be reminded of what we love about this special place of ours – for one more year. And our Myla turned sixteen while we were there!
