to celebrate, we went up to sundance today for a luncheon-baby shower. It could not have been a more beautiful day, the fall colors are on display, and absolutely gorgeous! just like the momma we were celebrating with…

my dear friend caryn has three handsome sons. they are ages 13, 10, and 7 years old. caryn took the courageous journey through pregnancy after a seven year break, and for the entire NINE MONTHS never found out what she was having…till this sweet tiny bundle was born.
{we were all just dying to know!}
and now, we couldn’t be more pleased that this precious girl joined their family. pink has taken over the house!

a baby boy was born 6 years ago. The Jedi Council named him KJ, and he was strong with force. In the years that followed his birth, young KJ has been learning the powers of the Jedi. Now the galaxy is in turmoil because the Sith have learned of the boy and seek him. To overcome this threat, KJ will need the help of others- so a call is being sent out for brave younglings to come and learn the ways of the Force. Rhodes family and friends, you have been chosen to join forces with padawan KJ and the Jedi order to stop the evil Sith! These new Jedi must be trained. The Jedi training will be disguised as a b-day party so the Sith will hopefully not learn of our plans.

Myla’s dance coach, Cassie, is expecting a baby boy the end of this month. Myla’s Jazz company “mini elites,” planned a baby shower for her and held it in one of the studios this past week during their class time. We have known Cassie for a few years now and just adore her. She has played on my indoor soccer team and has sick skills on the field. Cassie has always been such an ideal example to Myla with her balanced love of dance and sports. Cassie is such a sweet heart, I don’t know anyone sweeter than her. She even has the most tender voice. We are sooo excited for this little guy to come into their family.
