last weekend, we kicked off the BYU football season by attending the
first home game. i would much rather go to a game now than when it’s snowing! we doubled with dusty’s nephew travis & his wife margaret, whom are two of our favorite people. if you haven’t met margaret yet, you need to hustle on over to bonbon and get to know her!
i’ll admit, i’m not a die-hard byu football fan, in general, not too much of a football fan at all. BUT i married a college football player! i struggle at times with FOUR HOUR+ games driven by testosterone.

dusty has returned to “friday lunches with big papi!” this is a big benefit of papi’s offices being two blocks away from our kids school.
dusty either takes the kids their favorite fast food or checks them out of school for 30 minutes and runs them somewhere to eat.
this is definitely the highlight of their lunch-week!

well, 2 nights ago dusty and i decided to continue our “couch Potato to 5k” training… the night before we had walked for 5 minutes, ran for 90 seconds, walked for 90 seconds, ran for 3 minutes, walked for 3 minutes and then repeated… melody, shannon child, spicy {our overacheiving marathoner friends}… stop laughing at our lack of jogging prowess. anyway, we walked up to carterville because there “ain’t no way” my husband was gonna run up that little hill. we turned south and began to jog… it was pitch dark {who came up with that phrase anyway? what is pitch??

So, Hong Kong… Gorgeous Hong Kong… Jane and I’s favorite city in the world. It has everything, gorgeous beaches, shopping, scenery, nice people, great food… and of course Disneyland. Myla and I didn’t make it there. I asked her if she’d want to and she chose to go to the Philippines as soon as possible to see her friend Trish. .JPG)
