the highlight of our trip to maui…
was the time we were able to spend with good friends.
geoff & jenn were dear dear neighbors of ours for about four years before they moved to maui a year ago. they were incredibly generous to us on this trip {thank you!} and we loved seeing what life is like for them on the island.
it was so nice to catch up with their family, and take a peek into their new lifestyle…
we were able to celebrate crew’s birthday with them,
had lots of yummy meals,
went to a couple of movies,
spent time at the beach together and we {dusty and I,

our anniversary get-a-way…
was beautiful.
we were lazy.
my husband and i breed laziness when we vacation.
we talked about doing all kinds of cool activities.
ziplining. hiking. etc.etc.
but talking is all we did.

eating.
eating.
eating.
visited friends. we attempted paddle boarding. visited more friends.
movies. movies. movies.
sleep. sleep. sleep.
that about sums it up!

here, we were hiking around zions national park,
in southern utah,
and stopped for a water/photo break…
and these are both from one of my first trips {of many later to come}
to the ranch in southern nevada where dusty was raised…
but all three of these were taken before we were husband and wife.
