this weekend, the forecast calls for…

looming clouds.
rain showers.
perfect fall weather.

not-so-perfect fall weather…

and, sunshine.

…because we’re splitting it between three cities in two states.

{my constant parenting motto for husband & i: we will divide and conquer!}

on friday & saturday, we will all be staying in slc to watch
kiana’s dance competition, then kiana and i will be headed
to L.A. on saturday afternoon.

{kiana’s dance team has a callback audition for this!}

husband will return home to cover all the festivities

with the three younger kiddo’s.

{my heart is aching that i’m going to miss this…
does hollywood just not celebrate halloween or what?!?}

i had a little pre–halloween photo shoot at home with the kids & husband,
so he will be free from all photography responsibilities on halloween…

…if i was going to be home for halloween, i had planned on wearing this.
is it not the cutest owl costume you’ve ever seen?!?
of course, i’d switch out the blue bra for something a little more
momma-friendly. wink. wink. maybe next year.
