Myla has been begging and begging for a puppy for a few years now… She has been told if she meets certain goals she could have one, and multiple times she has met her end of the deal. She also worked hard this past year to pay for half of the puppy’s fee, and then finally after all of this santa agreed to deliver this holiday season. Myla chose a girl Australian Labradoodle from Winsome Cottage Labradoodles, in Heber, Utah. And, she named her Wellesley Baloo. We lived in Wellesley while we were in Massachusetts, and also – Myla has Wellesley college on her list of hopeful places to attend college. So,

hasbeens

I hope you all had a lovely holiday season. I hope it included time with friends and family, and you felt loved. And enjoyed as much time as possible being lazy!!!

We have returned home from our annual holiday pilgrimage to Cabo, Mexico. It was a brutal return to frigid temps here in Utah. So, we are holding on to these warm memories as long as we can!

Feliz Navidad! Feliz Ano Nuevo!!! xo.

*Santa brought all the girls Swedish Hasbeens in Mexico… we are all a family of has-beens now! 😉

Earlier this month was the second little retreat, it was filled with the cozy spirit of winter and social energy. The smiles were generous and the laughter was contagious. The food was superb, and the energy each guest brought made the evening magical.

Thank you to everyone involved – Lisa Lewis of Light & Ink, Kitchen 88, Mindy Johnson as photographer and each and every guest – you allow these events to thrive. Stay tuned to hear what is on the schedule for January! xo.

Printable FESTIVE sewing cards

Elf on the shelf with yarn and lace cards printable via seejaneblog

Looking for an activity to keep your kiddos busy this month? Maybe santa needs a little extra time to get things done…

This is it! Let the little people in your life practice their sewing skills! The best part, I thought this was fun, so your older kids might like it too! Be creative with your yarn choices – or use more than one at a time!

Need to give your kiddos a message that they are behaving really well or being a little stinker? Here’s your chance! Print these Elf on the shelf report cards via my shop, HERE, and check off whichever boxes apply to your kiddos!

Have your teenagers been driving too fast? kissing too many boys or girls? Have your little ones been wetting the bed a little too often? Or, do you have a perfect angel??? It’s all on there!

I had this elf size minecraft box head idea before the holidays last year and just could not find time to get it done – but it came to fruition this year with the help of an Elf minecraft dream team: Lovely Lindsay for the printable design, and Trisha Zemp Smith for the stop motion video – how fun are the finished results??? I LOVE it! I seriously was clapping my hands and laughing over and over during the creation of the video, one of the funnest projects I’ve helped with in a long time. I absolutely loved it and look forward to doing more, soon.
