our typical rhodes-kids movie set-up…

you gotta have your kids treat pack, my kids like to upgrade to an icee & big treat. now that there are kid-sized 3-D glasses, gotta have those. AND, the kid booster seats, nowadays, they like to sit on TWO, a double-decker!

{picture taken in a dark theater, on my iphone. poor quality, but you get the idea! we are a movie-lovin’ family}

‘how to train your dragon’

training dragons never looked more fun! my favorite family-kids movie this year, so far.

i finally saw ‘sex & the city movie 2’ with my husband this weekend. shamelessly, i admit i am an avid fan. i’ve seen every episode of every season {my precious TV-DVD time when i workout!}, and now, both movies.

in my opinion, fans and fashionistas will sit back and savour ‘sex and the city 2’, everyone else will probably conclude you can have too much of a good thing. and, as much as i adore these fabulous four women, i think it is time to stop now.

the fashion addict in me, would love carrie’s dior tee shown below, from the movie…

‘robinhood’

i haven’t seen a great epic movie in a long time. i was intrigued that this is set before the robinhood legend begins, giving a fresh view.

‘robinhood’ hits the bulls eye!

and, lastly, because it rated low in our family…

myla {miss ten} went to this for a birthday party last week.

myla said, “it was good.”

my husband took litte miss three & miss twelve to see it this weekend…

miss twelve said, “it was the crappiest movie i’ve ever seen.”

i was happy i stayed home. i’m rarely a fan of talking-animals movies, what do you think?

  1. I love sex and the city too…. the latest movie has just been released… and I haven't seen it yet 🙁

  2. I agree with miss twelve! We saw Karate Kid – awesome. This week we have the film festival here, which I LOVE and I know you guys would LOVE! Have thought of your family several times. A couple of the movies set in New Zealand. The most anticipated and well publicized, Boy, is about a Maori kid. Can't wait to see it.
