my husband is on his longest business trip, ever.
the longest we have been apart from one another, since we’ve been married.
we’re two weeks + one day down.
and hopefully less than two more weeks to go.

on the day we dropped him off at the airport,
we {me, my kids, plus a few of their friends} spent the afternoon in slc.
our main event was going here.
we love our annual tradition of visiting the animals.
we chose the best day to go!
we were there for two and a half hours in the late afternoon,
there were maybe fifty people in the entire zoo!
and, most of the time was cloud cover,
so even though we had july heat…
it wasn’t too bad.
zuri, the baby elephant, was the highlight of our day!

Oh how I love the zoo! Is it super hot right now? Do the animals hide in the shade? You guys were smart to bring those little misters!
p.s. So about that collage…. I bought these awesome blogboards from Image Garden Design. It comes with I think 30 different templates for collages. I know how to use Pjotoshop but most of the time I'm just lazy about it. I bought these because it's so easy and fun.
