10 years ago today, our girl entered this world. It was 9:36a.m. on a chilly Cedar City day. My life has never been the same, and you know what’s crazy? She keeps making it better…

10th ~ this morning, I started a new Rhodes tradition by giving her one present for every year so far – #10 was the guitar she’s been just dying to have. I bought one for me, too {not a turqoise one like hers} and in a couple weeks we are going to start lessons together…we’ll keep you posted on how that goes. We are both really looking forward to it.

Wow double digits-what a big birthday!! She is SO beautiful. I love all of the pics of each of her special days…isn’t is amazing how quickly time goes by? It makes me so sad sometimes. I hope she has a wonderful birthday today!

Kiana~ You were one of the most BEAU-tiful babies I have ever seen in real life (not to mention one of the heaviest! Seriously, you were a SOLID little thing!) and it has been so fun to watch you grow up… You are one gorgeous, talented, smart, sweet, and lucky girl… and are sooo very loved! Happy B-Day girly! The guitar is a treasured talent to me. My mom is an awesome player and I’ve always loved it. I have so many memories of her on her guitar. I always say how much I am going to miss that when she dies someday. So never quit! You will love it.

Jane, just checking in…your daughter is so cute. I read your old posts, blogging can be so addicting. Does your back and neck hurt all the time like mine? =) Anyway, I decided that I had to give myself time restrictions, just like I do with my kids and their nintendo’s. I figure I can always go back and read posts and just check in once a week. I love your blog, it is so great to catch up with everyone. But, I am glad I am not the only one who had felt that they have to rethink it to!

Were you living in Cedar at the time? I didn’t realize our kids were so close in age. Tay will be 10 in April. My how time flies.
I love it that I got to be there when Kiana came into the world! It went so fast and yet seems like 3 lifetimes ago! It has been such a great decade together! Happy birthday cute girl!
