i saw this in the whole living magazine and was so taken with how rustic, unique & sophisticated it looked.
i had to try it.
{i packaged the bark pieces in white bags + added a copy of the recipe with a tiny clothespin on top. i love little-simple details like that.}
ingredients:
vegetable cooking spray
8 ounces dark chocolate (70 percent cacao), melted
1/4 cup shelled pistachios, chopped
1/4 teaspoon sea salt, such as fleur de sel or Maldon
to make:
lightly coat an 8-inch pan with cooking spray. line with parchment paper, leaving a small overhang. Pour in chocolate and smooth with a spatula into an even layer.
Sprinkle with pistachios and sea salt. Chill in fridge until completely set, about 30 minutes. Peel off parchment, and break into pieces.
’tis the season to make & share treats!
xoxo.

I love how beautiful this looks. I’m gonna have to try this one!
I’m so glad you’re back! (not private, that is). Your blog makes me happy. I’m a friend of Lu and Summer’s. Boston looks good on you, Lady.
Thank you so much for sharing this! Can’t wait to try it. Love how you add such sweet details to everything you do!
I am so ecstatic that you are back! I’ve missed reading your wonderful blog and will definitely be trying this recipe out this holiday season!
I made peppermint bark last year but it was so involved with dark and white chocolate layers that I decided to skip it this year. That is until I saw how easy this would be, I substituted almonds for pistachios and it was great and so easy! I also did a batch with peppermint candies sprinkled on top too. So quick and easy! I placed them in little mason jars and voila, teacher and client gifts. Thanks for the ideas.
I just have to say I was so very sad when you went private, I just received a text from my sis-in-law telling me she had a Christmas surprise for me and told me you were public again! I can’t tell you how excited I am! Thank you, Thank you for coming back!!
Ooooo…i love dark chocolate and pistachios! i’ll be making this for sure.
