chuck e cheese

this was Sela’s first trip to chuck e cheese’s.

I just couldn’t take her there before.

Our local chuck e cheese was remodeled about a year ago, but I still feel like it’s a little ghetto = flu inducing germs.

Did she like it?

The pictures speak for themselves!

KJ facing backwards to make this game work – made me smile. I love my little buddy. He’s so addicted to video games.

You can’t see Sela’s screaming face here or feel her little body trembling,
she was not a fan of chuck e cheese himself.

  1. Ours is somewhat ghetto! That’s a good word for it… we usually go to one in Dallas (it’s a little more upscale???) when we are out there. I love that Sela can’t stand mascots… What a blast!

  2. I think since it’s been remodeled its not so bad! Good thing there is no more BALL PIT!
She looks like she loves it, i must agree with her, it’s my Favorite Pizza!

  3. I would be scare of that giant mouse too! Sela looks like she is a natural at driving, just like Kiana 😉

  4. Fun! I permanently deleted Chuck E. Cheese’s from our list of frequently visited social outing locations after 2 year old Trevan came up out of the Ball Pit holding someone’s crusty old sock and munching on a half-eaten pizza crust… Grossed me out! (Matt affectionately called it the “Pit of Flu”.) We have not been there in YEARS! I didn’t even know it had been remodeled! We will have to check it out! 🙂

  5. I will say it’s not as disgusting as it used to be. Taking out the ball pit made a HUGE difference. It is probably Crew’s favorite place. He loves to dance to the shows. I was thinking the other day – should we sign Crew and Sela up for a Little Gym class? Let me know what you think.

  6. have to admit that it’s max’s favorite place right now…always asking for “cheese”. last night’s game was better, we need to pull out a win! 🙂

btw, i just scrolled down to see your ballpark in your basement and i’m dying…how fun!

  7. Kids just love germ infested places! It must be so they can build up their immune systems. I just close my eyes and then wipe them down when we are done. But, I still remember how much I loved Chuck E. Cheese when I was growing up. Hey, it’s where a kid can be a kid…right!

  8. Isn’t it so awful that kids are so in love with a place that parents despise so!?

    I feel the same way!

  9. Darling pictures. I am with you 100% on it being GHETTO!!! We only took Kade twice and that was out of obligation to friends birthday parties. You are brave.

  10. So, I had my 1st Birthday Party at Chuck e Cheese. It was in Hawaii, but it wasn’t ghetto. It was really nice and I totally loved it. Some how the Orem location turned out pretty sad…. 🙁
