Riverside country club Easter egg hunt 2015 II via seejaneblogHappy Easter – no matter how you celebrate – focused on Christ, the Easter bunny, egg hunts, family, friends, good food, sunshine, or if it was simply the first weekend in April… I hope you had a beautiful day! Combining many of these things make it one of my favorite weekends of the year. I love any reason to be with the people I love. And spring is such a good reason to celebrate. It’s so full of renewal, rejuvenation, I can feel inspiration in the air to be better. I hope you feel it too. xo.

Kiana: Had a rough week – but she’s still smiling! The teenage years are just not easy at times.

Myla: Computer parts have been arriving at our house almost every day – again. She’s gearing up to build her second computer. She’s looking to break down her old one and sell the parts individually, but first she needs to learn more about Selling Graphics Card, this way she’ll know what she’s doing.

KJ: He told me this past week that one of his best buddies,

Kiana: Went with her papa on her first official college road trip this past week to sunny Southern California. She has already toured UVU, and SUU here in Utah. In Southern Cali she toured UCI, Chapman University, and USD. She’s taken the ACT’s once and is waiting for her results – such an exciting time in her life! I can’t wait to see what she chooses to do. We tour the UofU this week!

Myla: A glimpse of Myla after she went to the Lotus temple color fest in Spanish Fork this past weekend.

Razring in Sand Hallow via seejaneblogAs soon as the little retreat was finished in Cedar City we headed a bit farther South to spend the weekend in St. George. We chose to stay at the Sand Hollow Resort – they have villas for rent that fit our family with extra space. It was sunny, fun, and a good dose of family time! Without sounding to whiney – it’s less and less common these days that we get time together with all of us. We “divide and conquer” more and more often. Dusty has taken kids on the past two weekends to softball and baseball tournaments in St George while I stayed home for dance competitions, homework and other commitments. Dusty’s travel/work schedule.

All pictures of the kiddos taken at Red Cliffs in Leeds, Utah – on the Red Reef hike.

Kiana: She started running one mile/day with me this past week. We’ve made it six days in a row! Instead of going long distances we are trying to see how fast we can both get our one mile down to. We track our runs on the Nike+ running app – both of us are down one minute from our first day!

Myla: Played in her first VARSITY softball game this past week!!!

Kiana: Kitchen dance party!!!

Myla: We were sitting at family dinner this past week when I noticed a sharpie marker “#15” on the inside of Myla’s wrist. Intrigued, I asked her, “Myla, what’s that #15 for?” With a little grin she told me… “Oh. That’s (boyfriend who plays baseball)’s number… when we have games, I write his number on my hand/wrist/arm, and when he has games – he does the same with my number – “#24” I sighed. Cutest thing I’ve ever heard!
