Cabo, Mexico 2018/19

We made our annual holiday pilgrimage to Cabo, Mexico this past December/January.
This trip remains one of our most special times of the year as a family. We are all together for two weeks of uninterrupted family time. It’s the best.
Plus, every year we have friends who join us and it makes it even more fun.

For those who are interested, we own timeshares at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach and always stay there but you can book a room/house there without being owners.
Our timeshares are currently for sale if you are interested, let me know.

Our favorite restaurants include the Cocina y Cantina at the Hacienda.
Flora Farms.
Manta at The Cape, a Thompson Hotel.
Ruth’s Chris at the Marina.
Pan Di Bacco near Squid Row for artisan Italian.
and I know El Farallon at Pedregal is amazing but I’ve yet to remember to book a table four months before we go and I always miss getting a reservation!!
One day I will get us a table there.
The Office on the Beach is always a party, if you want that scene.

All of these require reservations in advance, I usually email two months prior to our trip for most of them. A few of them require an application/deposit to be submitted
for groups larger than six.

Have you been to Cabo and do you have restaurants you’d add to this list? If yes, please share in the comments so we can possibly try them next time we go.

Cheers to Mexico, family time and good food!

  1. Hi Jane! I would love your input on your thoughts of the other Pueblo Bonito resorts in Cabo. We have about 6 couples that are going with no kids and was wondering which resort is the best for our group. We LOVE good food, easy access to all the amenities, and we would prefer not having to go from resort to resort to try other restaurants. I am trying to decide between Pacifica or Sunset. Love to hear your thoughts!

    1. Hey Amanda. I would recommend Pacifica if there’s no kids and you are still super close to Sunset for more restaurants, it’s a quick van ride away. So fun!! I’d also recommend going into Cabo to a few restaurants – check out the restaurant at the Hacidenda, Pedregal, Manta at The Cape, Flora farms, a new place Acre Baja – those are all worth driving to!! And you need reservations NOW. Have the best trip!
