was the book I read to Myla’s Class at their Christmas Party. I love this story, and the artwork is INCREDIBLE! I am considering using some of the “birds” as ideas for artwork on Myla’s walls in her room because the colors even match and it’s an adorable vintage look…Check it out! You can purchase it at Nordstrom.

December 21, 2007

KJ’s friend “Sam” celebrated his 1/2-birthday at school, and his parents hired an awesome balloon-maker to come to the class. KJ had this TANK made, it was just about the coolest balloon I’ve ever seen!

a little cheer for KJ

December 15, 2007

I know it’s cheesy but I absolutely love preschool programs. Especially at this time of year, for me, the more events the merrier.

Myla’s 2nd grade CAREER DAY

November 27, 2007

Dusty got to go and deliver his “This is what I do” spill to Myla’s class. He loves it and goes out of his way to try and sway the kids into thinking he’s the coolest dad (i.e. bribes via gifts and such). He gave them each a name plate made at the factory for each student with their name on it as well as a basketball, head band and hat. He started by saying, “My job is the toughest job in the world… it is being a dad to Myla. She’s HIGH MAINTANENCE!”

Kiana was so sad that Dusty & I were not going on her field trip this morning, so about an hour later Dusty showed up in the middle of a movie at the museum as a surprise, and she was SO happy! And since Dusty didn’t have a lunch, Kiana ditched her sack lunch and ate at the restaurant with Dad (spoiled girl!) then she also didn’t ride the bus home with the rest of her class but left with Dad (spoiled AGAIN!) Here are some pictures of her “group” @ the museum…“of course” Kiana is not playing in the sand, she’s WAY too mature for that…I bet she thought,”aaa,
