When tucking Myla into bed tonight, I noticed this dinosaur in santa clothes, in it’s own bed, snuggled up by her to go to bed tonight…

Myla & KJ spent an afternoon playing tennis with Jenn and her kids. This past weekend she took them all to the tennis courts for a lesson. They loved it! Thank you, Jenn!!!

my Myla has a best boy, his name is Chase.
They have the most darling friendship…
Recently, Chase was in Hawaii and brought Myla home a pair of pearl earrings…
he chose the pearls (in oysters) and had the earrings made for her!
he’s won my heart.
Friday evening, Myla went with Chase’s family to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.
While there, this conversation took place…
Chase: What if I kiss you before we’re 16?
Jenn {Chase’s Mom}: Remember Chase, Dusty has a gun…
Chase: {eyes as wide as saucers}
Myla: My Dad would be mad, but I think my Mom would be happy for me…

Sunday night, Dusty said:
“Who wants to camp out on the Balcony with Dad?”
Very quickly, came 3 replies…

“Not me! Mom, Can I sleep with you if Dad’s outside?” -Kiana
Dusty made up very comfy beds out on the balcony for everyone at about 9pm…
By 10pm, the thrill of it all had worn off for KJ and he tip-toed back inside asking me to tuck him into his bed… {Because I was awake – on the computer – digi scrapping}
Right after I tucked KJ into bed I sneaked outside to take a photo –

Myla and Ezra are doing a duo/jive to “Jailhouse rock” this upcoming year… Ashly Delgrosso-Costa choreographed it, and they have worked super hard all summer on cleaning/practicing it. Last night at “Dancing under the Stars” was their first time to perform this piece in the pre-show. They had a small music error and the sun was shining right into their little faces, but they pulled it off so well!
