after i picked up my girls from the airport, we were lucky enough to spend the afternoon together, just us girls…
we had lunch, did some school shopping, and went to see the movie,
“julie & julia.”
we loved it. funny & charming. meryl streep was so good, once again. and amy adams, she’s impressive too…

but we love it even more, when the granums are in town!
i know i boast about my neighborhood, but i really just love the memories our kids are going to grow up and have of their childhood. i adore these women and with the granums in town we are non-stop fun.

we ended the evening with a family dinner at tucano’s, and a date night for the adults at “the ugly truth.”

nuvo dance nationals

kiana and i just returned home…
after having a great time in beverly hills.
kiana spent seven of the days dancing for nuvo dance nationals-
rehearsals.
workshop classes.
competing.
we arrived one day early and stayed one day extra to have some time to play. on our first evening there, we headed to the movie theaters to see…
we loved it. so funny. so cute.
on our second day, we took a hollywood tour! it turned out to be so awesome because the tour takes 2-12 people per little black van,

my boys just walked in the door…
3 am
the little man’s passion for transformers took them out for the night.
apparently, this VERY pg-13/borderline rated R movie had plenty for both of them to enjoy…
dusty said as they walked out of the movie, kj said:
“man, i wish mom was here, she’d have loved it!”
hehe…love my boys.
