This is somehow one of the few things I have done consistently with holiday traditions. Take the kids to see Santa. I abhor the long lines to see him (refuse to wait), so each year after Thanksgiving and before December rolls in we play hooky from school for the morning and visit Santa at the Mall. No line. After the “what we wants & bribes to smile for camera” we have lunch – then go to school – very late. Today was the day. Check mark. Also, for the first time ever, when I downloaded my pictures on my computer this afternoon (while talking on the phone) I obviously did something very wrong and the pictures are missing.

THANKSGIVING

November 23, 2007

Neighborhood Turkey Bowl –
KJ has been practicing this move at his “little gym sports class”a hot air balloon floating by…This is one of my favorite pictures of Myla, it totally looks like she could be planning this mid-air pose and she’s So happy.KJ lasted about 10 minutes of the game and he was done, so he hung out on the sidelines with Sela.
We had Our “real” Thanksgiving Day dinner @ Sundance with Danny. If I’m not having a holiday dinner in our home, Sundance is my favorite because the atmosphere is so cozy and the food is incredible!

We are staying in town this week so we’re packing it full of activities. After the movie we had lunch at “Happy Sumo,” everyone needs some sushi before turkey all week… Then Kiana and I went and had our eyebrows waxed this afternoon. My FAVORITE place to get this done is at Nordstrom. The Anastasia counter. Kelly Pack is the only master esthetician who does it at the Orem Nordstrom, and she is awesome! If you have never had your eyebrows waxed or have never had it done by an Anastasia trained person,

Kiana was so sad that Dusty & I were not going on her field trip this morning, so about an hour later Dusty showed up in the middle of a movie at the museum as a surprise, and she was SO happy! And since Dusty didn’t have a lunch, Kiana ditched her sack lunch and ate at the restaurant with Dad (spoiled girl!) then she also didn’t ride the bus home with the rest of her class but left with Dad (spoiled AGAIN!) Here are some pictures of her “group” @ the museum…“of course” Kiana is not playing in the sand, she’s WAY too mature for that…I bet she thought,”aaa,
