On Friday evening, our good friends Matt & Kathy were in town and stopped by to visit. It is always great to see them. We became friends when we were all newlyweds teaching English in S.Korea, about 12 years ago…crazy that it has been that long! We went to dinner with them while they were here…
Saturday morning, Myla’s coach pitch game was rained-out, so we put all the kids +2 in the car {in pyjama’s} and went to Magleby’s Fresh for breakfast…this is a favorite breakfast joint for our family.
On Sunday, the Howell boys spent most of the day with us and I set up an activity for the kids.

Caryn and I are underway with our oil painting class. We had a great time during our first class and can’t wait to see how our first projects turn out. We are the only two in the class under 60 years old. The class is excited to have some younger blood attending, my piece was the only contemporary/non-tree-scenery piece being worked on in the class. It is a cactus with blossoms. I love it, and hope I can make it look close to the original. We took before pictures and I’ll post the results when they are done.
