hello…

January 21, 2010
“My name is Alison and I am a busy mom of four kids ages 10 1/2 to 2 1/2. I have lived in the panhandle of Nebraska for 5 1/2 years with my little family and we are enjoying small town life. My oldest three kiddos are boys, so after having our little Ella I was so excited to make her cute and girly things. I started with simple hair clips and little bracelets and then it turned into skirts, appliqué shirts and dresses. I never would have guessed I would really enjoy sewing, especially when I think back to the sewing lessons I had as a child. I opened my Etsy store on black Friday and have been amazed and thrilled with the response I have received!

my soul was definitely touched by dolly parton!

i love music. especially it’s ability to take us back to certain places & times in our lives,

so nostalgic. i love it’s ability to conjure up all sorts of emotion. love. excitement. patriotism.

owl obsession

October 6, 2009

i love owls, so i was thrilled to find a fellow owl lover here.

i’m really considering a few of these prints {like the one above}
for kiana’s new room…

kiana & myla have been playing musical bedrooms this past week.
WAY more work for me, than them.
but, there is a light at the end of the hallway…
we’re almost done.
