Nutcracker chaperone

was my title today. With the responsibility of taking care of the “party girls” pre-show, during, and after – you also get to be backstage while they are performing. It was very cool. The Ballet West dancers are so sweet to the Young Dancers cast.

While Kiana & I did the Nutcracker thing, Dusty took Myla & KJ skiing for the first time this season. He said it was a BEAUTIFUL day and they both did AWESOME, and they LOVE being in the lodge for treats when they are done. Myla came home and taped hand warmers to her feet to help them get warm.

Then the Rodeo began…

Kiana & Sela, Sela is so fun – as long as she is with a member of her immediate family, she is willing to do anything!This was our first cruise around the neighborhood before we realized we HAD to have goggles, because the 4-wheeler was kicking up so much slush!Myla: “Our snowman smokes & plays basketball?”

It’s still dumping snow outside – we LOVE it! The kids along with the Howell Boys built this AWESOME snowman tonight…Note the Pro Look basketball! {nice touch}

’tis the season

to go sledding via 4-wheeler! This was Dusty out with the kids last weekend, we are hoping for MORE snow like this so the fun activities can continue. Kiana, Hally (Kiana’s friend), and KJ are on the tube-sled. KJ sipping his cocoa right after sledding, the cocoa latte’ machine was running around the clock.Myla’s friend Roslyn (a.k.a. Roz) moved to Dubai with her family last August, but is home to visit for the holidays – Myla missed her SO much – welcome home Rozy!!!One of my favorite old-fashioned traditions – paper snowflakes! The kids & I stayed up late the other night cutting these out,
