Kiana: Went to prom with one of her best friends, Parker, and had such a great time. You can see a video of the day/date here!

Myla: I was late to Myla’s first high school softball game, and while I was hustling to get there – Dusty sent me a text that said, “Baby girl is playing short stop!!!” She had an awesome hit too! I’m looking forward to ten weeks of softball games, and lots of big hair ribbons tied into bows on her braids!

Kiana: Officially 17!!!

Myla: She made the high school softball team!!! I didn’t realize till tryouts that Utah state cut the freshmen softball teams from the state budget in years past, so there are only Varsity and J.V., this made Myla extra nervous but she made it! (thumbs DOWN for girl sports cuts.)

KJ: A fierce game of Blokus for this little trash talker… and watermelon juice shots!

Sela: Spends HOURS a day doing this stretch EVERYwhere we go!

Kiana: Has been searching online 24/7 for a prom dress. It’s not easy to find the right dress.

Myla: Passed her state foods test and gets to show off that accomplishment at school with this personalized apron!

KJ: This dude went temporarily missing on Wednesday after school this week. He had our nanny pretty worried when she couldn’t find him, his dad left work, I left school early, and we were ALL looking for him around our nieghborhood!

Kiana: Is spending the long weekend in Boston visiting her friends (and the snow) there. This girl is savvy and independant.

Myla: Has been practicing her softball skills while KJ practices for spring baseball. She’s now hoping to be on the softball and golf teams this spring for high school!

KJ: Since being grounded from “technology” he has reconnected with his Rubiks cube, air soft guns, bike, and more – I just might not allow technology for a long time because I lOVE how he spends his time when grounded.

Kiana: She registered for her senior year classes this past week, and we are all in disbelief she will be a SENIOR!!!

Myla: Spent the entire week playing tennis and golf outdoors! Sixty degree temps in February.

KJ: Joined a new travel baseball team, and a new haircut all in the past week.

Sela: Since last September this girl has been requesting to quit dance. And as a parent, this is a tough situation for me, she is on a “company”

Kiana: After school. Talking about her new boyfriend.

Myla: What you can’t see: this list she made of her current three college choices touches the floor. It’s now hanging next to her bed – Should I say focused? Driven. Ambitious. Dreamer. Goal-setter. Is she really my child?

KJ: He’s been grounded from “electronics” for about two solid weeks now – so when he needs to use a computer for homework these days, you would think he’d won the lottery.

Sela: For those of you who are familiar with the Gateway mall in SLC –
