my mom is coming from utah to visit tomorrow! this is her first time to visit us since we moved to boston, and the kids are already fighting over who gets to share their room with grandma. {i’m pretty sure she’ll choose to sleep alone in a guest room!}

with her visit, i am preparing for mother’s day this weekend. something put together or made at home is my favorite, so here’s one idea i’d like to share with you. it’s inexpensive + takes hardly any time at all to assemble.

last weekend i was walking through sur la table when i spotted all their wooden spoons. i became quickly obsessed with their bamboo spoons.

happy monday m’friends! so, i unexpectedly took a spring break with my kids. didn’t plan on that, but it was nice. and it’s good to be back. how was your week{end}?

i’ve recently discovered black wagon – it’s a modern boutique for baby & kids. clothing, gadgets, gifts + so much more! i’m so sad the two dresses below {one, two} are no longer available in sela’s size. boo. maybe one of you have a little one they will fit. and, that dwell studios city stamp set – i would be happy to play with it!

when we were in new york city for new years eve. we stopped by the toys ‘r us in times square with our kiddos. as soon as we all took the escalator downstairs and saw this we were hooked —

words can not describe how much i love these little mice from maileg. and watching miss five play with them on the floor – it’s killing me with cuteness.
