I just finished reading March, by Geraldine Brooks.  It was a great read. Maybe a little slow at first, but not that bad. It definitely picked up.

It is based on the characters from Little Women. The main character being Mr. March, the girls’ father and his experiences while he is away from them working/fighting in the Civil War.

I really enjoyed the book, as I did Little Women. Of course, it most likely will not be a classic, but interesting to consider the characters from the point of view of the father’s story.
