I just finished reading The Honk and Holler Opening Soon. The author, Billy Letts, wrote Where the Heart Is, which was an Oprah book, about a girl who had a baby in Walmart… But that’s beside the point, unless of course you’ve read that book and enjoyed it, then I think you will enjoy this one.

But this book is a heart warming story, about a group of “down and out” people who all find each other and kind of become a family of sorts. The book is somewhat predictable, but it keeps you hoping for a happy ending.

I’d say this is definitely a book to get from the library.
