Australian Labradoodle puppy almost four months via seejaneblogA portrait of my children (and puppy), once a week, every week, in 2015.
All pictures of the kiddos taken at Red Cliffs in Leeds, Utah – on the Red Reef hike.

Kiana: She started running one mile/day with me this past week. We’ve made it six days in a row! Instead of going long distances we are trying to see how fast we can both get our one mile down to. We track our runs on the Nike+ running app – both of us are down one minute from our first day!

Myla: Played in her first VARSITY softball game this past week!!!

KJ: We went golfing this weekend at the Sand Hollow course in Hurricane, and this kiddo and I shared a cart. I let him take a turn to drive the cart, and he was racing our other family members when he noticed DOZENS of rabbits on the fairway. He didn’t notice the small drop-off he launched us off of, and we nearly tipped over and it SCARED ME TO DEATH – KJ had tears he was laughing so hard!

Sela: We have a family group texts that is typically used for scheduling info, pep talks, tracking kids down, informing everyone of meal plans, and inside jokes, etc. When Sela wants to say something but doesn’t have anything to add to the conversation she just texts, “Bob”. Random “Bob’s” pop up throughout all of our texts. So, I started calling her Bob. She doesn’t like it.

*side note: I don’t know why Sela does this, but I have a nephew Bob who passed away years ago when he was 21 from a battle with Leukemia. If you live in the Seattle area – he has a cancer camp counselor who owns a microbrewery up there – Georgetown Brewing Company – and he brews “Bob’s beer” once a year on his birthday in his honor. May 14th – 100% of the proceeds from Bob’s beer are donated in honor of my nephew to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington and Alaska to provide a “home away from home” for Children’s Hospital patients and families. More reason my sentimental heart loves her “Bob” texts.

Wellesley Baloo: We missed this puppy all weekend, and kept saying things like, “Wellesley would love this so much!” We’re pathetic puppy owners.
